Zosia Mamet
Zosia Mamet doesn’t enjoy wearing other people’s clothes, even when in character on set.
The actress stars in Lena Dunham‘s hit TV series where she plays the loveable but naive Shoshanna.
Zosia has an amazing individual style in real life so finds it tough to don someone else’s garments, even on set.
“It is [hard to wear them]! I feel incredibly uncomfortable all the time,” she told Refinery 29.
Zosia recently attended the premiere of Woody Allen’s new movie Blue Jasmine in New York. For the event, the star wore a quirky mix of textured florals, geometric earrings and accessories.
She discussed how she feels about quintessential New York figure Woody. Zosia also named Annie Hall, played by Diane Keaton, as her ultimate style icon.
“Oh, I don’t know. One sign of a fantastic filmmaker is that all of their films capture the director’s essence, but are exceptionally different. I don’t know if I can pick. I would love to be Annie Hall when I grow up, and dress like her forever. If I had to pick, it’d be that,” she shared.
Zosia might have a tomboyish dress sense in her day-to-day life, but admitted she has an elegant tendency when it comes to cosmetics. The star shared which make-up item she can’t live without.
“My go-to beauty product is red lipstick,” she smiled.

Nuala and I met five years ago at a fancy dress party. She was dressed as Heidi and the closest description I could think of for my costume was a gangsta Santa Claus. I was wearing a suit, long beard and Gandalf wig. It was the original blind date – she had no idea what I looked like for the whole evening because of the costume. Nuala is currently doing her PhD in counselling and psychology. We have two dogs at home, Charlie and Tattie (below). They’re the ones that run the household.
